Biography[]
Early life[]
Tyson was born in Queensland, Australia, in 1987. He became keen on dance music, particularly trance, when he was around 14 years old.[1] At first his parents were not okay with it, however, so they bought him a drum set, though he eventually sold it for DJ equipment.[2]
When Tyson was 16, he began entering competitions under his school nickname "tydi", which became "tyDi" following a printing error on an ad postcard. After being the last person in his family to leave home,[2] he began touring Australia.

- Tyson has 3 older sisters, two of which are twins.[2]
